Day8 Encounter Jeff

Strong wind wake me up.
I slept under tiny eaves.
It was an uneasy night.
at7,start.
At a convenience store,
I met pilgrim .
He sat on the ground,and read a book.
"Hi !"
"Good morning !"
His name is Jeff.
from Florida,USA.
But now he lives in Fukuoka,Japan.
He just began to walk this morning.
He waited ATM open,so I precede him.

Then I lost my way,wander about,
Jeff catch me.
Walk along together,talking various things.
(Jeff could speak japanese well)
He stands 200cm tall,
therefore his legs are so long.
He walked very fast !
It was hard to follow him.

The drooping cherry tree was so beautiful.
There, I met "70 years old man"again. (see Day4)
He said,
"I hurted my knees. So I bought a bycicle."

It is esy if the road was flat.
I started climb the mountain.
look back at Katsuura Village.
So steep path !

Three-storied Pagoda.
Hard steep downhill.
Hurry up !
It becomes dark.
Small village appears.
I felt relieved.
Seeking a place to sleep in the open.
A friendly woman teach me the way.
Thank you so much !
When I arrived,
Jeff had finished bathing cold water.
I wipe my body with wet towel.
wash underwears.
We talked.
Jeff had learned Buddhism at Tibet.
He knows about Buddhism very well.
