Thanks to all those who commented on my last blog... your support has inspired me to create another one!

So, how are you all? I am still feeling quite shaken after chasing a massive spider around my apartment for half an hour with a shoe. It was incredibly fast and kept sprinting across the floor and hiding under the refrigerator. I couldn't quite identify the sub-species, but it was either a Black-backed CockPincer or a Flying Scrotum Magnet. No ifs or buts about those, they're going straight for the groin. Ouch!

Last week was much more enjoyable, when I went to a Jazz club with my pianist friend. Considering my well-documented dislike for jazz music, it really was such a treat to sit there and sip on chardonay and mingle with the most pompous of Daikanyama's pompous, and guffaw at the subhuman troglodytes who weren't worthy enough to attend such elitist activities. Anyway, I should tell you about my pianist friend, who at 188cm tall, is quite big for a pianist. I'm only 180cm tall... so, has anyone else ever seen such a large pianist? If so, write about your experiences in my comments section.

Well, how do you plan on spending the rest of your day? I might just relax at home and listen to the recent release of Morning Musume's 23rd single "僕らが生きる My World", the new anthem for Japanese imperialism and militarism and another sad reminder that you can doll up these girls in Peach John panties and polka dot hair ribbons but you can't hide their racist stink.

Hi everyone. Thanks for checking out my blog. I can assure you I’ll be blogging at least once a year, so check back regularly!

So, what have you all been doing recently? I finally got around to reading the much-talked of "Enhancement of Faecal Excretion with Olestra and percutaneous elimination of TCDD in patients with acute rhinopharyngitis ", written by the esteemed Tokio University academic and sometimes pianist Gregory Sheisskopf. Have any of you read that yet? It's very interesting and definitely worth a look.

In other news, today I discovered that nearly 34% of men here sit down on the toilet to urinate (http://mdn.mainichi.jp/mdnnews/news/20090926p2a00m0na002000c.html ). I was fascinated to learn of the reasons for partaking in this amusing habit. Nearly 70% of those surveyed did so to stop urine splashing around, while an alarming 46% of respondents felt it was simply more comfortable. Whatever the reasoning, I think the sooner we begin cross-cultural dialogue between The Standers and The Sitters the sooner the majority of us men will be able to further our understanding and tolerance of this often misunderstood minority group. So, when was the last time you went to the restroom?
