Japanse word: 大晦日
Why we have New Year's Eve today? Becase this is a lunar calender festial.
Than, the picture show our lunch and offerings to Gods and ancestors.
And we burn incense and pray to them.
In the evening, adults will give red envelope to children.
This is the greast custom of lunar New Year! except adults.(^ε^)♪
But now you come to Taiwan, you won't see this. The four words had been tore down and chage "自由廣場" to the top.
Actually, I oppose to the policy.
