ONE OK ROCK
I've been a fan of ONE OK ROCK since 2016. My friend back in the University introduced me to this band. She shared with me their whole discography. Although I've heard a lot of their songs since 2015 because of the movie Rurouni Kenshin, I was never so absorbed in this band, not until 2016. I watched all their music videos on YouTube and listen to all their songs from the beginning of their career. The song "No Scared" from their album Zankyo Reference is my most played music in the game "OSU". So far, my favorite album from ONE OK ROCK is "Jinsei × Boku =". Most of my favorite songs like "The Beginning", "Clock Strikes" and "Deeper Deeper" belong there too.
They just released their album Renegades as well as the song last April this year. I found this very inspiring and timely because of the stigma that every generation has at this time. Also, this gives an eye-opening to the awareness of racism. For me, this song also emphasized the importance of equity in society, plus gender equality, and other general issues we face right now. It showed the power to voice out the oppression we feel and stand up for what is right
. A lot of symbols were shown and I commend the part where there's a person who raised a sign about climate change. Well, this is also alarming because it greatly affected our biosphere. It's a 4-minute song with a lot of significant messages. As always, their songs hold rich meaning. This is what I admire so much from them
