こんにちは、みんな!
Based on my personal experince, here's what every website (especially in ecommerce) should do to guarantee that things go smoothly. This works great for startups, personal blogs, but also for established companies that are just now entering online world. Enjoy!
1) Working on your search optimization is absolutely a must.
2) Ask a friend or a family member (basically someone not familiar with your project) to test everything, maybe the find a mistake. Even better, ask several people.
3) Mobile version is absolutely a must, in whatever way (adaptive desigh, responisve design, designated separate mobile version, PWA). App is its own thing and you shouln't assume the visitors will use it, so even if you have the app work on a mobile version anyway.
4) If you don't have experince with design and your projects isn't meant to be artsy, stick to neutral colors and in general clean look.
5) Make sure the navigation is intuitive and doesn't go top deep.
6) Consider cross-promoting on the websites your audience is using (reddit, instagram, tiktok, or a website popular in your niche works).
7) If you don't have experince in making a website, go for something with drag-and-drop builder. If you need something more advanced, go with a web development studio. We pesonally offer Magento development services, and also Shopware development, which works for ecommerce stores.
8) If you don't have a blog, concider setting one up.
9) Make sure your branding stays consistent across all channels.
10) Call to actions should be bold and noticable, but not too flashy.
11) Make sure you website adheres to acessibility norms.
12) Make sure your website loads fast.
I thinks this is the essentials I always check for! Thanks for reading, I hope it was helpful!
