I have been in Fukuoka since Saturday. School started yesterday and I realized just how little Japanese I am able to read, besides picking out katakana and some hiragana. Wow. But I am excited to learn the language, at long last!

Japan is making my hair do strange things. The ends flip up, even without hair wax! (`・ω・´)

There is a PureBOYS event on 7月6日 in Canal City. Unfortunately, when I checked HMV this morning, all of the reserve tickets were gone. However, I still plan to attend and watch their event. It was a pleasure to see them Friday in Tokyo at Sensei's last broadcast. I want to support them as best I can!

I have been in Japan for a week now and it's been great. This past weekend, I went to see Masa's First Live at Akasaka Blitz. His singing was really good! He has so much energy! (^O^)

On Sunday, I went to Kanesaki Kentaro's Birthday Event and I met him. Wow! He's so nice and sweet and I am still sparkly eyed from it. ヾ(@^▽^@)ノ

The picture above was taken on Saturday in a cafe in 池袋. Today, my friend and I went to Nara. There were many deer and my feet have blisters from wearing orange sandals. (・Θ・;)
Tomorrow, I am going to 日本 at last!

I am so excited! o(^-^)o

It's been very busy here lately. And I failed at updating my Ameblog much. But once I am in Japan, it will probably be easier.

Here is where I am going:

6月18日Tokyo
6月23日Nara
6月26日Kyoto
6月28日Fukuoka
8月9日Kobe
8月11日Nikko
8月13日Japan
8月19日Home!

After months of waiting, I am finally going! There are so many things I want to do and so many places I want to see! As well as learning Japanese, too! ('-^*)/

One more month and I will be in 日本! I am excited and more than ready to travel again. I will be there for ミュージカル『テニスの王子様』 this summer, and also, hopefully, KAT-TUN's concert in 福岡市! (o^-')b

Recently, there have been a lot of アップ ups and ダウン downs that have been frustrating for me to deal with. Things should settle down soon. I am eager to work on my research once more now that I have some free time. (゚ー゚;

The picture above is the crabapple tree at home. It was raining when I took the photo, but the flowers are pretty.

It is finally spring in Canada- I took this photograph of crocuses in our garden. The warm weather is a relief from winter at last!

This morning (today is still 4月18日in Canda's timezone) I heard back from 九州大学. They accepted me into their summer program! It is good to finally be able to confirm my plans, although being in 福岡市 means that I might not be able to meet some of my friends after all. (T_T)

Regardless, I am excited! In two months, I will be in 日本 again!
