As a new member of the HP Cloud Services team I thought I would check out the OpenStack based public cloud and share my experience launching a new Linux instance for the first time. To begin with you will need an account on the HP Public Cloud and with a 90 day free trial there is no excuse to not give it a try. To assist in the process, I used the Getting Started Guide which is well written and easy to follow.
