Today, I took the class for this university’s students again. This time also, it was difficult to understand what they said. However, compared with last time, I think I could understand a little bit more. This time, I was counting how many they express their ideas during the class. This time also, at first, 3 students introduced articles they researched and then almost half of students did presentations. While they were doing presentations, I thought that the quality of their presentation isn’t different from that of our presentations. The different point is that how much the presenters talk during the presentation. In the US, presenters talk very much and the audience also ask questions, so presentation goes smoothly. On the other hand, in my college, presenter do their presentation reading manuscript and with a little bit small voice. Additionally, the audience don’t ask question very much. I think maybe, this difference comes from how much the presenter can speak English.
