I visited Tronto to attend the American psychological annual convention.
I’ve been to Canada before, but it was my first time to visit Canada’s east.
When I arrived at Union station which is the central station in Toronto, I thaught Tronto was a beautiful city.
There were many historical buildings and modern buildings around there.
And I was surprised there were various races.
After World War II, the number of immigrants from various countries increased.
Now half of the population is made of immigrants and it’s a multiracial city!
A Japanese woman who lived in Toronto told me, “The best thing about living here is nobody treated me like a foreigner”.
I thought it’s so wonderful thing!! Everyone recognize each culture and all people can coexist. I think I want to live there…
This is the Ontario Parliament.
This is the Unversity of Toronto!
This university is a famous for discovery of Insulin.
This is the Royal Ontario Museum.
I noticed there were not any convenience stores anywhere…
I found a convenience store more than 1 kilometer away on foot.
Because I was used to life that there are convenience stores everywhere, it was inconvenient to buy foods and drinks.
On the last day, I went to Niagara Falls with my co-worker.
It’s a bigger and more forceful than I thought!!
Especially when I boarded a Niagara Cruise ship, I was so excited. I was overpowered with the force of the waterfall in front of my eyes.
This waterfall has been shaped in the ice age, and it eroded by force, it moved 3 kilometers to the upper Niagara river.
That’s the power of nature!! I felt like I was small.
