Chasing the American Chinese Dream

Hola! I'm back from HK and Macau now. So time to update. :) The trip was great.. I went with my parents and my dad's friend's family. HK was really lively man.. Singapore is nothing compared to it. I went to probably 3-4 malls and everyone of them has at least 1 LV, Gucci, Chanel (and all other that sort of stores) in the area. What's more amazing is it's always filled with many people.

Most of those who buy alot are Chinese (mainlanders). I wonder what business they do.. I want to earn that kind of money too. Alot of us are saying we wanna chase the 'American' dream.. maybe it should be the 'Chinese' dream now. But actually it should be the "American Chinese" dream. Not to sound racist or anything but I encountered some bizarre incidents there during my 6 days stay; such as 2 women catfighting and kicking each other at a 5-star hotel. Lol. Never see that one before.

Macau was also nice, although I still prefer LV. The "Cotai Strip" is just being developed so basically if you stay there, you can only go to the 2 hotels that are there now. The rest is not done yet.. but probably after a few more years it will be more fun. At the main Macau island though, the settings are still European-like. I tried the famous egg tart there and man it's good! Too bad I still stay 2 more nights at HK after that, so I can't buy some to bring back.

But well overall, I like both HK and Macau. Oh and my new favorite casino game = Roulette. :)

kinda sleepy

Today is an interesting day. I feel that It's different from my normal routine. One good news: PW gets a new job and she was very satisfied with the salary too. Happy for her. :)

And umm.. actually if asked, my schedule today was eat, eat and eat. At first ate at Central (in PP) w/ Pw and her mom --> the 3-style eggs fried rice is good!! I'll definitely order that one next time.. my pork chop rice was abit disappointing. :( Then after that, continued with dessert at Swensen's w/ PW and ayam. Finally at night, we ate seafood at Red House.

Tomorrow is time for house cleaning, packing (for HK.. yay!) and printing the necessary stuff. Oh yea, and today our ayam keeps revenging on me. -_-" You know, usually me and anchi would make fun of her. Not really make fun actually.. just teasing.. lol. And today (!), taking advantage that my partner in crime wasn't there, she tried to recruit her own partner in crime and attack me.

But I guess making fun of me is not as fun.. cuz I don't give out funny reactions/expression. If u know what I mean. hehehhee. Peace cik. :P
