Welcome I am a 2nd Grade teacher at Eisenhower Elementary Academy in Marion, GA. I am excited you came to go to my web diary!

I wish to tell you a bit about my educational history. I attended the University of Georgia where I got my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I then went into the University of East Georgia in which I earned my Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. I feel I am uniquely prepared to teach English as another language. I am fluent in Spanish. I have been studying French for around eleven years. I also love most languages and also have studied German, Chinese, and a few others. I have taught English as a Second Language (ESL) to children and adults. I really like being able to help people learn to communicate in a new language.

I've been teaching for over 18 years. I began teaching in the Marion County School District in 1999. I taught 7th Grade English and Science at South Middle School. In 2001, I transferred into Eisenhower Elementary School where I taught 4th Grade for 2 classes. In 2009, I became the ESL instructor for the Marion County School District. I teach in both the middle and elementary schools.
