Dating standards on the internet are becoming a full-time discussion again.

Every week on TikTok, Reddit, X, and YouTube, people argue about:

  • “Are standards too high?”
  • “What counts as realistic?”
  • “Why is everyone still single?”
  • “How rare is the ‘perfect partner’?”

That curiosity is exactly why I ended up trying this calculator:

At first I expected another joke quiz.
Instead, it turned out to be surprisingly addictive.

The tool uses filters like:

  • Height
  • Income
  • Age
  • Relationship status
  • Race

Then it estimates how statistically rare someone with those traits actually is.

I started with what many people online describe as “normal standards”:

  • Tall
  • Financially successful
  • Single
  • Attractive
  • Certain age range

The results became extreme very quickly.

The more filters I added, the smaller the percentage became.
At one point the calculator basically implied I was searching for someone rarer than a luxury supercar. 😂

What makes the tool interesting is that it turns emotional dating conversations into actual numbers and probabilities.

Whether you agree with the idea or not, it definitely sparks discussion.

Some people will see it as:

  • A reality check
  • A funny meme tool
  • A social experiment
  • A dating statistics calculator

Others will completely disagree with the concept.

Either way, it’s one of the more entertaining viral tools I’ve seen recently.

What About a Female Version?

One thing I noticed is that people constantly ask for the reverse version too.

Questions like:

  • “Where is the female delusion calculator?”
  • “Can men calculate dating odds too?”
  • “What percentage of women meet certain standards?”

That would probably go viral as well because internet debates around dating standards go both ways now.

For now, the male version is the one getting attention:

If you try it, test your actual standards honestly — not your “safe” answers.
The percentages become hilarious fast. 😂
