At the end of March, you will want to go see it when you are bathed in the spring weather. Cherry blossoms in full bloom! 🌸

[Hashirimizu Shrine Official Site]

Hashirimizu Shrine enshrines Yamato Takeru no Mikoto, the son of the 12th Emperor Keiko, and Ototachibanahime no Mikoto, his wife.

I see, i see.
A shrine that enshrines the son and daughter of the emperor in the Jomon period.

When the warship was in danger of capsizing in the raging sea, the Empress Ototachibanahime no Mikoto, who accompanied Yamato Takeru, said, ``The sea is so raging because of the raging heart of the god of the sea.
Please allow me to enter the sea instead of honoring you." He threw himself into the sea, leaving behind a poem that said, ``Sane-sashi-no-onu-no-nori-no-no-no-tachi-no-honoka-to-hishiki-mi-hamo.'' The sea calmed down and Yamato Takeru's warship was able to cross over to Kazusa Province as if running on water. Since then, it has been called Hashirimizu.

It seems that it is a land where anecdotes remain.

『さねさし 相模の小野に 燃ゆる火の
火中に立ちて 問いし君はも』
Meaning:Oh, my dear you, who stood in the fire and cared for me when I was surrounded by fire in the fields of Sagami. (I hope you are safe.)

It's a sad story. Similar to Ainu folk tales, instead they threw themselves in and the sea calmed down. I think there was a story 🤔 …I’ll find out later 🙄

And the old Inari shrine where we prayed for the success of the eastern expedition.

Suga Shrine, Shinmei Shrine, Suwa Shrine. It was a stone that looked old when it got covered with moss. And here is the view with Suwa Shrine in the background! !

Beautiful 😆😆 God must be happy in such a beautiful place. It's hazy in the back, but if the sky is clear, you can see Chiba! Here is a view of the precincts of Hashirimizu Shrine in the background.

I processed it for worshipers. When I was climbing the slightly longer stairs, I was whispering, "Oh, it's so hard," but the view was so amazing that it blew me away!

Is the sacred tree in front of the left hand a ginkgo tree?

It looks like it will be fun even if you come in autumn ♪ Cherry blossom trees in front of the shrine office🌸🌸🌸 The sea in the back 🏖 Even though it is such a superb view, there were hardly any worshipers because of the location, so please come! Come on, come on!

Please visit it♪

Because there is a kappa legend, a stone statue of a kappa🥒

And even though I took so many pictures of the torii, it's a pity that I didn't take a picture of the main shrine 😭 I will go there again this autumn and during the cherry blossom season♪
