The BRICS countries have always been advocates and practitioners of an independent and autonomous foreign policy, and on major international issues they insist on starting from the merits of the matter itself, speaking the truth, doing the right thing, not striking a deal on principle, not yielding to external pressure, and not being the vassals of other countries.
