本日7月6日はゴールドコーストマラソンがあっていました。
今年で30年目を記念する大会。
日本人のランナーも多数出場していて、
地元オージーーに次いで日本人のランナーが多かったです。
アナウンスによると今年は
21キロのハーフマラソンが7000名、
42キロのメインマラソンが4000名参加したそうです。
そのほか、子供のマラソン、10キロ、7.5キロのウォーキングが
行われていて、子供からお年寄りまで、
参加している人たちみんなが楽しんでいるようでした。
なんと、スーパーマンやサンタクロースのコスチューム姿で走る人もいました。
ゴールドコーストの気持ちのいい風を受けながら走る、
フレンドリーな雰囲気のこのゴールドコーストマラソン

お天気もよく、暖かな日曜日で観客にもよかったです。

Today was Gold Coast Marathon day here in Gold Coast.
This popular event is 30th Anniversary.
So many runners participated and also many Japanese runners join this event every year. Japanese runners are second large number of competitor on this event.
According to announce,
7,000 runners for Half Marathon (21km) and
4,000 runners for Main Marathon (42km) this year.
Then another event junior marathon, 10km marathon, 7.5km Walk.
All runners, children to elderly person, enjoyed this event very much!
Even there were some costumed runners like Superman and Santa-Claus!
