Why written in English?
This is because that the main purpose of writing the blog is to get used to writing in English.
Maybe there are some weird sentences that native speakers don't write.

First, I'd like to talk about nuclear crisis in Japan and its impact to agriculture.
On March 11, the huge earthquake hit the Tohoku region, northeast Japan, and followed dreadful Tsunami, which swept everything away and devastated towns.
Tsunami also attack nuclear plants at Hukushima prefecture, caused shut down of cooling systems.
This disaster led to melt-down of fuels and radioactive materials were spewed into the air and sea.
The diffusion of radioactive materials contaminated crops and fishes.
Some farmers near the power plants are banned from selling their products because radiation level with their vegetables is higher than allowable limits.
This is very regrettable but no choices.
However, the crops and seafood, produced a bit far from power plants, which are not contaminated and banned selling, are also rejected by buyer and consumer.
The trade price drops heavily, impossible to sell and earn.

Many farmers and fishermen are worried about this situation.
They can't sell products and earn money though there is no problem on their products.
