Second day of trip, from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon, it tooks four and a half hours by car. The wilderness followed intently. From Nevada to Arizona, It was windy in the drafty.
Before check-in, we went to watch the preview of the rising sun of tomorrow to Martha point. The rim was paved clean and easy on walking with the stroller. And,,, the superb view of the world's best debut. It showed various expressions depending on the angle, the color also changed in the way of taking photos of the time of day or strata. This day was a Friday, but it was a high season, there were still plenty tourists.
After the dinner, we transfered by car to Yavapai point and aimed at sunset 7:20 PM. This also, superb view of red rocks turned blue. But It was so cold and windy day our tears was out. Takeru also had a runny nose. It was a lovely sunset.
旅行二日目は、午前中ラスベガスのお土産屋をプラっとみただけでグランドキャニオンへ向かう。
ラスベガスからグランドキャニオンへは、途中休憩しながら車で更に4時間半。
ひたすら荒野が続く、、、
ネバダ州からアリゾナ州へ、、、
吹きさらしで風の強いこと。
14:30に到着し、グランドキャニオンロッジ内のグローサリーで食料調達。
普通のスーパーで品揃えもかなり豊富だった。
ホテルチェックイン前に、マーサポイントへ明日の朝日の下見。
トレイルは綺麗に舗装されており、駐車場も近くてベビーカーにも優しい。
そして、、、世界一の絶景がお目見え。
地層は角度によって様々な表情を見せ、時間帯や写真の撮り方で色も変わる。
この日は金曜だったが、それでも観光客は結構いた。
壮大で美しい。
一度ホテルへ戻り、チェックイン。
夕飯は、施設にもレストランがあるがゆっくり部屋食に。
持参したライスクッカーに、鶏塩だし、手羽先、野菜のスプリングミックス、トマトケチャップを入れスープに。そして白ご飯と、他チーズやフルーツでお腹いっぱい。
健も旦那も満足。
夕飯後、19:20の日の入りを狙ってヤバパイポイントへ車で移動。
これまた、赤の岩が青に変わり絶景。
しかし日が沈みかけると寒いわ、風は強いわ、涙は出る。
健も寒くて鼻水たらす。
素敵な日の入りでした。
