Are there words you often hear but are not sure
of the exact meaning
So what exactly does  "power harassment" mean

Well the English explanation is
"Many workers are forced by their superiors to perform
tasks outside of their job description and working hours.”

Typical examples of power harassment include:
  1. being scolded in front of other colleagues, rebuked in a loud voice
  2. neglect
  3. false evaluation and demotion.

How was your weekend
What did you do

I had a small get together at my place with a few friends. 
We started at sunset which is around 7:30pm these days.







AND this is when we finished our last drinks.
It gets pretty light by 4:35 these days.

盗み聞きする





How do you say 盗み聞きする in English
Steal listen ×× 　＜　 lol 直訳ですね

The right word is  "eavesdrop"7ACT.
For example :
I didn't mean to eavesdrop.  盗み聞きするつもりはなかった
Eavesdrop on a conversation. 　会話を盗み聞きする。

引きこもり






Three new Japanese words have been added to
the Oxford English Dictionary and the words are 
hikikomori, karoshi, and otaku.

Hikikomori  : The abnormal avoidance of social contact, 
especially by  adolescent males.

Karoshi  : death from overwork

Otaku : Huge fan of something, like anime and gundam models etc.


Unfortunately, I guess these words describe the present day Japan.辛い
