I have been struggling with engine trouble
the engines i own are aged and low quality.
In an attempt to use an engine, i need to use parts from another.
so called "Mix N Match" 
Team Associated/Thunder Tiger AE.12 engine.
This engine uses an "SG" crankshaft
this design is good for performance, but it is too short to fit on the chassis.
a Threaded crankshaft is needed
in the photo;
VX.16 cranskhaft (redcat engine)
it is an engine that uses a pull-start.
it is hard to see, but the button does not fit in the shaft.
as you can see, there is a difference
i scrape the end..
it fits
when new clutch parts arrive in the post,
i will mount engine to chassis and check fitment.
