今年もAKB48シングル 選抜総選挙がありました。メンバーのコメントを英語にしてみます。まずは、16位の武藤十夢ちゃん。
AKB48チームKの武藤十夢です。16位、本当に本当にありがとうございまーす！もう胸がいっぱいで、初めて、こうして一人で立たせてもらって話すのですが…、何を話せばいいのか本当に今はわからなくて。でもすっっごく幸せです！はい。私は、4年前にAKB48の12期研究生としてAKB48に入りました。その時は、いつ辞めるかわからない同期の中だったら、一番最初に辞めてしまうのではないかと言われているようなメンバーでした。でも、一番最初の総選挙でフューチャーガールズのセンターになって、次の年にはネクストガールズ、そして去年はアンダーガールズ、そして…今年…、16人選抜になることができました！ありがとうございます。
AKB48のファンの方やスタッフさんの中では、この総選挙を“祭り”と言う方がいます。でも、私はそうは思いません。AKB48の総選挙は、私にとっては年に1回のチャンスを掴む場なんです。私のような、最初期待されていなかったようなメンバーからしたら、年に1回、自分の名前を覚えてもらって、存在を知ってもらえるチャンスの場なんです。…だから、今回、私のような初めは期待されていなかったようなメンバーでも、ファンの皆さんと一緒に頑張って、一つの目標に向かって歩けば、ちゃんと光を掴むことができるんだということを、身を以って証明できたかと思います。
AKB48グループには、まだ皆さんには見つかっていないけど、劇場とかでキラキラ輝いてる子がたくさんいます。だから、私のように…私のように？って言ったらおかしいかもしれないですけど、みんなにもこうやってチャンスを掴んで、光を見ることができるっていうことを証明できたかと思うので、ファンの皆さんもメンバーのみんなも諦めないで、行ってほしいなと思います。本当に、お前誰だよって思われるかもしれないですけど、私が実際にそうだったので、…ありがとうございます。なので、皆さんにもそうなってほしいです。多分、そのキラキラしている子は、私たちメンバーとかスタッフさんじゃなくて、普段、私たちのことをこうやって見てくれるファンの方が一番知ってくれると思うので、一緒にこれからも48グループを応援してほしいです。
はい。選抜…そうですね…。今まで、32人選抜にしかなったことがなくて、16人選抜というのは、私にとって初めての経験になります。選抜…うーん。今までとは、やっぱり全然違うと思います。今までも、49位、45位、24位と…素敵な順位をいただきました。でも、やっぱり選抜16位というのは特別です。…今までとは違って、これからは16人選抜とは、AKBの顔になるということでもあります。不安がないわけではありません。今も、ここで喋ってることが信じられなくて、手が震えて、すごく怖いです。でも、こうして、応援してくださった皆さんが私にはついていると思ったら、これからも頑張って行ける、そう思います。応援してくださった皆さん、票を入れてくださった皆さん、支えてくれた家族、友達、知り合い、近所の皆さん、そしてファンの皆さん、本当にありがとうございました！

Four years ago, I joined AKB48 as a trainee of the twelfth class. Then, I was a member who would be said to retire first if I had been among the colleagues likely to retire at any time. But at my first popularity voting, I became the center ( main vocal, prima donna ) of the Future Girls, the next year I was selected as one of the Next Girls, last year in the Under Girls, and, this time, I am ranked as No. 16, one of the selected sixteen members! Thank you very much!
Some fans and some staff say that this popularity voting is a kind of a festival. But I don’t think so. The AKB48’s popularity voting for the selection is the only chance for me in a year. For a member, like me, who was not regarded as promising at first, this is the chance to get noticed. So, this time, I have been able to demonstrate, by myself, that even a member , like me, who was not regarded as promising at first, can seize the glory if the member struggle to walk to a goal with fans.
AKB48 group has a lot of girls who have not yet been noticed but bright on the theater stage. So like me,… like me? It may be strange to say so, but I can demonstrate all the members can get a chance and see the light, I think, so I’d like both fans and members to go forward without giving up. In fact, some may say to me, “Who are you!” but I was actually as such,… Thank you ( to audience ). So I’d like everyone to be so. Perhaps, the bright girl is well known not to us members or staff but to fans watching us like now. I hope you will cheer up AKB48 group together from now on.
Yes, the selection,… let me see,… Until now I have experienced only the 32 selected members group and the 16 selected is the unknown world for me. The selected,… well. I feel this is completely different from what I have experienced until now. In the past popularity voting selections I was ranked 49, 45, 24, each very good position. But to be selected as the sixteenth is special. Being one of the 16 selected members means “being the representative of AKB48!” I feel anxious.
