In Japan, we have the national day on February 11. The United States does on July 4. Australia on January 26.
And then people in Canada celebrate the July 1 in 1867 as the anniversary.
They united three colonies into a single country called Canada within the British Empire.
There seems to have been several events on around the city. The City of Toronto planned live music stage, dance performance and fireworks at night.
Sounds a lot fun.
However I didn't go to any events at all.
Instead I met up a friend of mine, and he showed me around a campus of University of Toronto.
I just heard the sound of fireworks.
It was a nice day.
Thank you for reading.
Have a nice day.
