What do you say to people when you go to bed or go home at night?

It is usually “Good night.” This is absolutely good and correct. However, non-native English speakers would say that too much, which sounds boring to natives. So you need to paraphrase, or use different expression.

One of the different expression is “See you in the morning.” The meaning is the same as “Good night.” Instead, “See you in the morning.”is used when you meet the person the next morning. That is the difference between the two.

You can say both now, and it may help you look more sophisticated than before.

This is today's tiny lesson.OK every one? Good night!

It is necessary for language learners to be exposed to the language. If you are learning English, you should be in the environment of English to make your English ability better.

However, it is not so easy to make such kind of situation if you are non-native of the language you learn. For example, a Japanese studies English. He/she finds it hard to keep English-only time because people in Japan speak Japanese, listen to Japanese and talk in Japanese. Therefore, there is little time for him/her to use English there.

One of ways to introduce the language to your daily life is to read newspapers. Here is an example below:

The Asahi Shimbun GLOBE

Shohei

Hello Ameba users. My name is Shohei.

This blog is to make my English ability better by writing in English.

I was born and grown in Tokyo, Japan. Since I started learning English when I was 12 in school, I fell in love with it and have been studying it. So, Ameba is the one of ways to expose myself to English.

I write diaries as much as I can and hope Ameba users will be interested in my blog:)
