Differences in events day between Japan and America.

Have you ever been abroad? Have you ever stay there in events day?

There are many commonness events around the world and many differences how to cerebrate and spend the day between countries. Then I’ll talk about the differences in events day between Japan and America.

First, on Christmas day.

In Japan, some of Japanese cerebrate the day, and almost all young people in Japan who have a boyfriend or a girlfriend spend the day by a couple. But in America, almost all people cerebrate the day and spend with family. A Christmas present is usually under the Christmas tree, but in Japan one is beside children’s pillow.

Second, on New Years Day.

New Years day is called OSHOGATU in Japan. There is a custom to meet with relations and their family. Also, eat OSETHI. By contraries, in America there is a custom to meet with their friends and have a party and some people go to Empire State Building to celebrate New Years Day.

I’d like to tell you about more different events between Japan and America, but I don’t have any knowledge and information about these, so I want to know more by myself.

Most of Japanese women wear heels recently. There are many merit and demerit. In spit of it, why do they wear them? There are 2 my opinions.

First, it makes the appearance of their legs much better. Please compare the appearance of your legs in the mirror which wear them and don’t. Then, I think you prefer to wear them, because the legs look longer and slender than usual.

Second, women who are shorter than general women wear high heels to make them higher. In my case, I usually wear high heels that have more than 5 cm heels because I am short. My height is about 150cm so when I wear the high heels, my height become about 155cm!!!!!!!! And the line of vision rises when I wear them. That’s nice!

Therefore, I wear high heels.

There are some good points to wear high heels, although there are some bad points. The foot is sprained, and it comes to have poor posture if it keeps wearing high heels. This is one of the bad points. And wearing high heels makes women tired, so I suggest that they shouldn’t wear them when they walk a long way or long time.

When you wear high heels, please be careful!!!!!!!!

Is it better to take risks or play it safe?

There are many times we had to choose between taking a risk and playing it safe. In my case, it has been better to take a risk.

One of the first big risks I took was that decided to come this school instead of university. If I had gone to university, I couldn’t have met my friends of this school and my dream might have been changed. When I was second grade of high school, I had thought I would go to university. However after I found this school, I decided to come to this school for my dream. I wanted to be a hotel clerk and now my dream hasn’t been changed. I have been studying about hotel and I did internship at a hotel, there for one step got closer to a dream.

Other big risk I took was that got a part time job at St. REGIS. It is executive and historical hotel so I was so nervous when I worked there for the first time.

And I wanted to work as a bell person, but now I work as a kitchen hand. I’ve polished glasses and silvers for about a month. At first, I didn’t like this job and I thought why I had to do such a boring work. However, I like my work now.

I almost always take risks. If I haven’t taken risks, I might not be here. It is need courage to decide to take risks, but you should take risks if you want to grow up.
