Biri Gyaru

Coffee and I have enjoyed our winter break relaxing at home or going to a gym to do excirse recently.

Last night we watched Japanese movie, Biri gyaru, through Youtube. I actually have heard of the movie, but did not expect that we could watch it. The story is about a high school girl who never studied hard before suddenly decided to go to Kiou University which is very difficult to enter. She started to go to a juku after school and met a nice teacher who understand not smart students' feeling and support them. Nobody believed except for her mom and the teacher that she would pass Kiou's entering exam, but she studied very hard until late night and supurisingly she passed the test.

This movie is based on a true story and had inspired us.

Happy New Year 2016

In a new year's eve Coffee and I were invited to one of our friend's home party to have toshikoshi soba and watch Kouhaku.

That I made miso yaki onigiri to bring turned good and the soba my friend cooked was amazing. We had a great time watching Kouhaku and chating with good friends.

When it turned a new year we cheered with champing the friend prepared and could start our 2016 in wonderful way. I want to learn and improve myself a lot this year!

Bye bye 2015 hello 2016

It is a new year's eve today. I know time fries so quicky.

2015 was a pretty good year for me that schooll has been doing well and I got the new job. I am going to write this blog more often in 2016 since my writing skill is so bad.

Tonight Coffee and I am going to a New Year's party at our friend's and watch Kouhaku and eat soba:)

I hope 2016 will be great as well!

Birthday

It was my thirty years old birthday yesterday. I still feel like I am around 22 years old. OMG. I cannot believe that I am tnow thirtys.

Coffee gave me a balloon, a rose, a card and a large cake which had my name on it. He also purchased a nice Dakine's back pack which I wanted to use for school through Amazon and I just received it this morning. It looks comfortable to use and has many pockets I can put many staffs. I already love it. I will be looking like a real American kid(student). lol

After coffee came back home we went to a Japanese restaurant together. The place is a little pricey but food is really good. It has been a while since we went there last time. Maybe 1 year ago? Food was still amazing and we had a good time. I really appreciate coffee's kindness and love him so much.

Job interview and Thanksgiving break

OMG... I have not written this blog for a while again, I apologize.

This week I have no class since it is thanksgiving week, Actually my break started last friday but I have not felt any acomplishment yet. I know I should do paper for meteoloroogy and study more English such as using I know program, learning grammer, reading Engish articels etc. I am too lazy but I have to change myself. I also have to learn excel and blind touch for workstudy. Last week I had a workstudy's interview that I applied for about 4weeks ago. It was my first time of a job intervie in only English so I was nervous at the time but it went actually very well since two interviewers were both Asian. I know it is crazy that both interviewews were Asian although most people in CO are white ! They were nice and friendly so I could answer comfortably. They said there were five accountants and three of five are asian. At the end of the interview they said they want to have me in the office and I was so glad. But I do not know if I would be hired yet because they will chack my backgroud. Since my credit score is low, I may not be hired, but it cannat be helped unfortunatly. I did what I could do. So I hope I can work for them though....

Do not dissemble

I like a Japanese TV show called Proffesional sigoto no ryuugi and watched one episode trough youtube after so long. This show is a documentary and each episode forcuses on one person who has a unique work theory and

usually famous in an industy. Today's episodo was covered an English instructor teaching high school students who want to pass a college entrance exam. His speciality is that being always honest and passionate for teaching. I know that does not sound any special. So I will give you some examples. When his students ask about an English and if he did not bring a reasonable book to better answer, he goes back to his home where takes a minite by a car to go to get the useful book .It sounds insane, but it actually gets to students' heart. The instructor does not want to fake as he knows everythings. He knows If he gives ambiguous answers to his students, they would find it out easily and not trust him anymore. That's why he is always honest and does his best for his students. I felt he has human touch and warm heart that is what I am lacking of. I would like to become like him some day.

Snow day

It was snowing when I woke up this morning, It was a first snow day here this year. I have some classes this afternooon so hope snow on the ground will melt before I leave here. In the meteology class I am going to have a lab and have to do a short presentation. I am nervous and not looking forward to it at all. I also will have its exam next week. I really shooud start to work foward it.

Moday is tough

Since I did not do any homework yesterday, I felt really tired after school today. I have lost my motivation to study and I was looking at a clock many times wishing the class's end. Especially the meteorology class makes me tired every time. The chairs in the class are not comfortable at all and hurts my lower back. Our teacher seems nice, but it is still hard to understand what she talks about since many terminologies are spoken. I just hope this semester will finish quickly. Actually one more month and done!

Before the meteology class, I had an appointment with an advoisor and talked to him regarding which a four years cllege I should go. I am interested in a school but its tuition is extremely high. Other schools tuitions are not bad, but these leves are much lower and also they do not have an accounting major ( they have bussiness major enphasise in accounting though). Therefore the advisor did not reccomend me to transfer for them. Instead he suggested to tranfer a private school he graduated. Although I was not interested in private schools at all since these tutitions are expensive, this school's advantage is that I can take credits for three years at my community college and transfer for the school and seve money. Even if I go to this school, total tuition will be still more expensive than lower level schools. However this school has an acoounting major as well. So I got more options and more difficulty to make the dicision. It is okay. I still have a time to think about it.

Ordicary weekend

Since I finisihed my homework yesterday, I did not have to do any assignment today! Yay. By the way it is very rare. lol

Coffee and I went on a short hike (I do not know if it is called a hike though..it was really short). In spite of hiking trails in CO have been getting more crowed thesedays, this trail was not busy at all. We passed by only two people while the hike. Even though it was a short hike, I got worn out very soon since it was a hot day and my stamina run out quickly as usual.

After the hike, we came back to our home and I cooked lunch which are fried rice, saba no shioyaki and kimuchi. Coffee does not like fish, but it is important to eat some protains which are not meats sometimes.

Then, we went to our gym to do excercise for an hour and went to glocery shopping after that. Coffee was complained about our large costs for food, but I think it is necessay expense since we do not go out for eating often. Only onece a week.

It was our ordinary weekend. Nothing speciall, but it is a great way to spend time with coffee. No homework is so good!

Winter is coming soon

Hi. This is Tea. I know it has been a long time since I wrote this blog last time. It was last year? lol I seriouslly should write a blog more often in order to gain my writting skill even though I said that same thing last year as well. So I will write a blog every day! I decided it! You can do it Tea!

Since it has been a while, I shold talk about what I have been this year so far. I am taking a fall semester at the same community college and I become a sophomore. I take only theree classes every semester therefore my GPA is 4.0.lol. I know it is not a good way to spend my time since I have too much free time so I applied for a workstudy two weeks ago, but I have not been responded from school yet.

It is Friday today. I need to finish my homework and want to spend this weekend with coffee to do something fun. But I am too lazy. I should be more hard worker in order to become an accountant.

I also has studied " I know" ofter recently, especially phrases. So I want to use a lot of phases I learned so far in my blog.

It it gettung colderand fall is almost gone here. I want to enjoy the scenery of fall a little longer.
