Outside Los Angeles, a semi-truck loaded with electronics(電子工学) is approached by three heavily(どっかりと) modified Honda Civics. The occupants of the Civics immobilize(…を動かなくする) the truck driver, hijack(乗っ取る) the truck and escape.The next day, undercover(秘密に行なう) LAPD officer, Brian O'Conner, is assigned to find the gang responsible(責任のある) for those crimes. Brian uses his cover job at a mechanics(機械学) shop to infiltrate(浸透する) the local street racing scene.
