Here, we will provide information about Koyo Gakuin Junior High School’s Music and Exhibition Showcase, known as “Onten (音楽と展覧の会).” This is a long-established annual school event, which combines a music concert with a showcase of students’ creative works and other activities typically found at a school festival.
Although Onten is a fascinating event, it is not widely known, and little information about it can be found online. However, I sincerely hope that more people come to learn about and take an interest in Onten. Above all, I hope that you have an enjoyable and memorable time at the event. This is why we have created this official website. Our aim is for this website to become a place where you can find helpful and interesting information.
Now, let me explain briefly about the Music and Exhibition Showcase here. While it generally serves as Koyo Gakuin Junior High School’s festival, it has several distinctive features. As I mentioned above, one of the features is that Onten includes not only exhibitions commonly found at other school festivals but also a music concert. Another notable aspect is that it is organized entirely by junior high school students despite Koyo being an integrated junior and senior high school. Since the junior and senior high schools are located on separate campuses, each school holds its own Onten at a different time and place. Such features make Onten fascinating and unique.
