Assist for Discover Scuba Diving

It is 08/Mar/2015 Assistance Discover scuba divier was today's activity.
There were three persons Japanese family , mother and two guys, 6th grade and 9th grade students.
In the morning they registered the discover scuba diving course. From cabana, they got on the boat to Mumtik island.  
Two boys were under eighteen, they need protectors signature.
BCD and regulators were carried from cabana.  We should choose the equipment as they are.  As for How much should were the weights?

Breathing rules
Equalization techniques
Equipment purpose and use
Hand signals
Regulator and mask clearing techniques
Importance of watching and staying close to PADI proffessionals
Respect for aquatic life
Limitation of the program and volume of further training
 including Discover Squb 
Complete and sign Discover Scuba Diving ,  which meet skill performance requirements 
Discover scuba diving knowledge & safety review

Confined water
help participants with their equipment
for pool experience, participants practice BCD inflation and deflation at the surface in shallow water
For confined water, and open water participants meet skill performance requirements
supervise participants, swiming underwater in shallow water
when comfortable, take participants to deeper water (maximum 6 meters) as appropriate
Skill performance requirements
participants practice these skills in shallow water
breathing underwater
regulator clearing
regulator recovery
mask clearing
equalization techniques
inflate and deflate BCD at the surface
*only BCD inflation /deflation required for pool-only experience

Open water dive optional
the instructor who conducts the briefing and skill performance requirements may guide participants on an open water dive (maximaum 12 meters)

Debriefing
become a certified diver - value and how to do it
DSD recognition
registration - tell divers that you will register them with PADI and visit padi.com and scuba earth.com/dsd to redeem the benefits

DIVEMASTER COURSE in KOTA KINABALU

Hellow Long time no see! 

I registered the Divemaster course at Borneo Divers Training Institute at Kota Kinabalu, today.

It was the first day of the course, today. So I registered the course and pay money, and filled out many forms.

 First I reviewed the Dive master course video that shows the follows.
Knowleds development
Topic and knowleds review.
1 The role and characteristics of PADI Divemaster
2. Supervising diving activities
3. Assisting with Student Divers
4. Diver safety and risk management
5. Divemaster conducted program
6. Specialized skills and activities
7. Business of diving and your diving carieer
8. Awareness of diving environment
9. Dive theory review

I reviewed and checked the results with Ms. Seena the main instructer of my this course, the divemaster manual review knowledge test.

Of course I have started the course in Japanese. All materials presented were in Japanese.

It was the noon. just after the dive master manual review, then we went to have lunch near the office.

Today's lunch was chicken rice.

After lunch rest , I reviewed the open water diver course exams and the usage of RDP and eRDPml, I took the final paper exams.

Fortunately I passed the final exams by paper, So from tomorrow, practical skills and accessment will begin.

Tommorow I will have the practical activities about Discover scuba diving assistant in the  morning.

in the afternoon, skills about under water mapping.
