今回はCIAのFelix Leiter(フェリックス・ライター)とボンドの初会話シーンから。

と、FelixがBondに銃を突きつけたところから始まります。
Felix: Where were you measured for this?
Bond: My tailor. Savile Row.
Felix: That so? Mine's a guy in Washington.
Felix Leiter, Central Intelligence Agency.
You must be James Bond.
Bond: You mean, we're fighting the same war.
Felix: I spotted you at the airport.
When I saw you drive off with the opposition, I figured I must be wrong.
なんで、この緊迫した画面で服の話をしてるのか、考えてみましょう。
Savie Row とは、ロンドン中心部にある、紳士の背広を販売する店がひしめくことで有名なファションストリート。
おしゃれなボンドらしいですね。
それに対して、Felixはワシントンと答えてますが、川を隔てて隣のバージニア州にあ？のが、Central Intelligence Agency...つまり、CIAです。
すると、Bondの所属するMI6は、Savie Row近辺にあるのかなと、気になります。
