In Tokyo, the town lights at night are very beautiful
I went to cycling to take pictures of "Ebisu Garden Place".
The orange lights of the buildings are clear and beautiful, aren't they?
Kero likes Ebisu, too !
Ebisu Garden Place is a complex facility near JR Ebisu station.
It has a department store, restaurants, a museum, and a cinema.
On summer nights, many restaurants of this area open their terraces.
We can enjoy our dinner while feeling the welcoming breeze.
If you come to Tokyo, why don't you drink a beer outside while seeing the nice Tokyo night scene?!

After cycling around the Imperial Palace,
how about shopping at Iidabashi ??
10 mins cycling from north of the Impaerial Palace, a big shopping area is spreading around JR Iidabashi station.
Along a long road connecting between JR Iidabashi station and Kagurazaka subway station, many small shops and restaurants are open
On weekends, cars cannot go through this shopping road. Cyclists and pedestrian can enjoy shopping without worrying about cars (But be careful not to drive too fast !!) If you have enough time, I recommend to explore some small byways in this area. In the old days, this area used to be a well-known busy fresh pot.
Now most of the old buildings are not remaining because of recent development, but we can still find some old style buildings around this area.
Let's enjoy to find your own favorite building
Zenkoku-temple along the street
By chance I met a duck near Iidabashi station
How cute he is!

Today, let me introduce a good cycling course around The Palace
The Imperial Palace is one of the most popular sightseeing spot for Tokyo tourists.
This Palace, constructed over Edo castle area(residence of successive rulers in Edo period), is the residence of Japan's current Imperial Family.
The whole size of this Palace is 1.15 million m2 and some parts are open to public, though most of the area is still a private area and not allowed to go in from security reason.
Every Sunday, the east area of this Palace is open for cyclists. Along beautiful scenery of old buildings, we can enjoy 3 km cycling without annoying cars.
If you don't have a bicycle, don't worry. Every Sunday, rental bike is available for free.
Though we cannot go anywhere by this rented bike, only limited area along the Palace is allowed to ride.
Currently, marathon is very popular for Tokyo health-conscious residence. If you visit this area on weekend, you can see many runners are jogging around the Palace.
The whole course is about 5 km, which seems just fit for everyday training for many runners.
Though for myself, 5 km marathon is too hard... How about you??
For me, 5 km is good distance for cycling
