MOSCOW, Jul 11 - RIA Novosti, Anatoly Samokhvalov. Japanese Yuzuru Hanyu rightfully won the International Skating Union (ISU) Skating Awards in the nomination "The most valuable skater", because he is the main person in the world figure skating, told RIA Novosti two-time Olympic champion Evgeni Plushenko.

In the nomination “Most Valuable Skater”, two-time Olympic champion Yuzuru Hanyu defeated his rivals in the fight for the statuette - two-time world champion American Nathan Chen and four-time world champions in ice dancing Frenchmen Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Sizerona.

ライバルとは2度の世界チャンピオンであるアメリカのネイサン・チェンと、4度の世界チャンピオンであるアイスダンスのフランスチーム、ガブリエラ・パパダキス/ギヨーム・シゼロン組である。

Hanyu gathers stadiums around the world, gathers 50-70% of Japanese fans from the whole arena at the Grand Prix stage in Moscow. This is a great indicator. I believe that Yuzuru is a man number one in figure skating, "Plushenko said over the phone.
