Over the weekend,

AFTER visiting the Art Fair,

時間があるうちに！と思って、

明日に挑む日本のアート： The Creative Potential of a New Japan

をバ～～～っとrun thruoghしてきました

ある意味、

すごいappraoachableなexhibitionになっています

Society and its issues, possibilties, reality, life, change, new aesthetics-

がvarious media and outputで表現され、

"CROSSING"してるこの舞台。。。

ん～～～～、

Making a comment about the future/reality/potential of ART through present ART...

イロイロthought-provokingなはずなんでしょうけど。。。

あまりユリーカにはアピールするartworksはなかったかも。。。

って言うか、

こんな時代を過ごして、進化？変わっていく our "new" Japanが生み出す今のnewアートが

将来のアートをsymbolizeすると思うから。。。

ちょっとsad future for art in Japanかも。。。

atleast for contemporary art

10minsじゃ全然展覧会のworksを十分に見れてないと思うけど、

nothing was striking, inspriring, appealing...

だし、

古いfamous quotes by global artistsが書かれた壁が最後のスペースに

全然the future of the Japanese art sceneの答えとはdirectly relatedじゃないし。。。

むしろWHAT IS ART?のテーマのquotesがほとんどで、

なんか自分の中では

あまり印象に残らないexhibitionになる気がしました～

５－６年前？のHAPPINESS：Survival Guide for Art and Lifeは今でも覚えてる～

ほんと漠然とだけど、

the art "scene" in GENERAL is not "happening" in Tokyoって

感じちゃう最近。。。

だから６月のBASEL ART FAIR行こうか
