I took Grade 1 Eiken test and did not make it! So disappointing. I need to study hard so I can make the cut easily. There are tons of words I don't know in English though communication-wise, I have no problem. I watch movies, TV shows, major networks' news and lectures in English with no problem but Eiken Grade1 is really tough. I guess now I have a goal that I need to reach. I'm hoping that passing this Eiken will allow me to get a good school like I am right now, since I am to transfet to a different school in two years.
As I watched Elvis Presley's daughter, who once was married to Michael Jackson, I thought it is a good thing that we human don't get whatever we wish. I guess Michael Jackson got whatever he wanted because of his money and fame. He ended up surrounding himself with only those who did whatever he said, which eventually killed him. Lisa Mary was talking about how once Michael told her if she didn't want to have his baby, there were other girls who would have his babies. It was the same way with everything else. He got whatever he wanted. She was talking about him, and his father who died after taking 15 prescription drugs, saying that they were like gods.
We are only human and it is a good thing that we do not get whatever we want, because many times we do not know what is good for me and what isn't.......Then again, there are so many things that I want things done my way!
