待機児童問題の解消が叫ばれるなか、住民の理解を得られずに、保育所の建設が難航するケースが相次いでいる。どうすれば子どもの居場所を確保できるのか。
さいたま市内で昨夏、ある保育所の建設計画が撤回された。来春、児童９０人を受け入れる計画だったが、住民の反対を受けて事業者が断念した。
「静かな老後を過ごしたいと思って家を建てたのに」「送迎の車で住民が事故にあったらどうするのか」。昨夏の住民説明会では、こんな声が相次いだと事業者は言う。「保育所は迷惑施設としか思われていないのではないか」
住民側にも言い分がある。建設予定地周辺の道路は、乗用車同士がすれ違うのがやっと。歩道と車道の区別はない。住民の一人は「朝夕の通勤・通学時間帯は、約２キロ離れた駅への行き来で人通りが多い。送迎の車で混雑すれば、事故の危険性が高まる」と話す。
事業者は、駐車場を借りて路上駐車や渋滞を防ぐなどの案を示したが、折り合えなかったという。
少子化や女性の力の活用は日本の重要な問題ですし、不景気の中子供を育てるてために共働きをする必要もあるので、ここは心を広く持って保育所の建設にむしろ賛成するくらいの雰囲気が欲しい所ですがね…。それに、何より子供の元気な声は地域の活力の証拠って気もしますが…、生きにくい世の中です

In Saitama city,in last year the plan for construction of a day nursery was canceled.The content of project that was that a day nursery will accept ninety children,but the organizer give up the project by opposition from resident.
Some resident insist that I construct my house to live a tranquil life after retire from work.And other inhabitant say how will you deal with the problem that traffic accident caused by car for sending children to institution.The planner says that these opposition is stated often in meeting for explanation to resident last year.The planner think 「Does resident think a day nursery is only troublesome institution for them?」
From view of resident,they think there is problem about the plan.The road around construction place is so narrow that facing cars passe each other safely.There is not boundary between car and pedestrian.One of resident says「on the time when many people commute to office via 2km away station in morning and evening,the road is overcrowded.so the possibility of traffic accident is heighten.
The organizer supposed that they prevent road parking and traffic congestion by renting parking area,but resident did not agree to the idea.
Reduction of number of children and utilizing the power of women is important issue in Japan.Under depression parent need to work together to raise their children.We should have forbearance enough to agree with the project.I think such atmosphere as resident approve the construction is needed.And firstly the animated voice is symbol for regional vitality.Modern society is strict to live.
