前半はミーティングの誤解をわびるメールを見ていきましょう。
ケンは、ビジネスパートナーのアンソニーにミーティングで生じた誤解をおわびするメールを送ります。

ミーティング中にケンの会社側で生じた誤解に対して、おわびの一言をつけています。
aroseはarise(生じる)の過去形です。
そして今回のポイントの英文はこちらです。
In order to prevent similar issues in the future, I'm attaching our proposal regarding some changes to our communication process.
今後同じようなことが起こらないように、コミュニケーション方法の変更を提案しています。謝るときはこのような前向きな対策や提案とセットにするといいですね。

提案について相手に意見を聞いています。
相手の意見を聞くときにPlease give me your view.とかPlease tell us what you think.といった言い方もありますが、share(共有する)は一緒に何かを考えるというニュアンスが出るので好んで使われます。

moving forwardは「今後について」という意味です。going forwardということもできます。
日本語のメールなら「よろしくお願いします」ですむところですが、英語のメールでは具体的なひと言で締めます。全体として、おわびはサラッとひと言述べる程度にとどめて、今後の対応策を盛り込むよう意識しましょう。
それではここでケンのメールのシャドーイングをしてみましょう。
今度はケンのおわびのメールに対してアンソニーから返信がきます。
メールの中に次の日本語に相当する英文があります。みなさんならどのように表現しますか?考えてみましょう。
誤解というのは、双方の責任から生じるものです。
ヒント: 双方の責任 shared responsibility
Miscommunication often involves shared responsibility.
こういうときのinvolve(~を含む)の使いかた、覚えておくと便利です。
このoftenはなくてもいいのですが、「よく～だ」ということで「～するものだ」という語感に近いと思います。断定的な言い方を避けることができますね。
この他にこんな表現をすることもできます。
Misunderstandings often result from a shared responsibility.
「～から生じる」はresult from~を使うことができます。
それではこの返信メールを見てみましょう。

いかがでしたか?誤解を解こうとするメッセージですね。メールと同様の内容でもカジュアルなやり取りが見られます。
例えばjump the gunこれは「先走る」という意味の口語表現です。
Shibata: Jenny, what's the original expression, "jump the gun"?
Jenny: It comes from an athletics’ event where the athlete jumps into action before the starting gun sounds. If you were texting, it would be something like "move too quickly" or "rush into things".
Shibata: Mm-hmm. It's interesting to know the origin of the expression.
そして今回のポイントです。
最後にソフィーお願いをしている部分はLet me know if you have any other concerns.という一言ですね。誤解が生じたことも含めて、相手が今何か不安に思っていることは何かを気にかけていることが伝わります。
今度はケンが返信します。

I appreciate your proactive stance.
proactiveはactiveよりも自分から率先して行動する状態を言います。
この他にどんな表現をすることができるでしょうか?

Constructive is another word for showing a positive attitude.
Shibata: Hm. That's true.

be on the same pageは、「同じページの上にいる」ですから、「同じ認識でいる状態」を指します。
