it may not resonate as much with themの一文はmay notを使っています。あくまで相手の反応を可能性を想像しながら話をしているので、it doesn't resonate～と断言せずにmayとかmightを上手に使いましょう。
こうした質問は、相手を攻撃したり追い込んだりということはなく、論点を詰めていくプロセスでごく自然な質問だと考えましょう。
