イスラエル人の友達がいて、会いに行ったのです。
以前活動していた、海外からの旅行者に日本の食事を体験してもらうNAGOMI VISITを通じて知り合った、イスラエルのデイビットさんとポリーナさん。（ちょうど5年前！！）
再来日してくれた時は、我が家でたこ焼パーティをしたのです。
「今度はこちらがイスラエルに行くね！」と言っていたのに、コロナ禍となり。。。
実はデイビッドさんは日本語が話せて、「じゃあ言語交換をしよう」と毎週1回、スカイプで話していたのです。
で、海外渡航の規制が緩和されたタイミングで決断！
8月31日から9月9日まで2年半ぶりの海外旅行です。
エチオピア航空で成田発アディスアベバ経由でイスラエルへ。
エルサレム、死海、アシュケロン、テルアビブを回ってきました。
アジアとも、アメリカとも、ヨーロッパとも違う。
イスラエルという国は本当に異国でした！
Why did you go to Israel?
I went to Israel to meet my friends!
Before pandemic I have been doing volunteer work for foreign tourists.
I made friends with many foreigners.
With one of them, David-san from Israel, I have had a language exchange once a week during Pandemic.
Japan has eased restrictions regarding corona.
It’s now or never!
I decided to go to Israel.
I took Ethiopian airline from Narita via Addis Ababa to Israel.
And I went to Jerusalem, Dead Sea, Ashkelon and Tel Aviv.
Israel was really different from Japan.
An amazing country!
