 Beef tongue stew is slowly simmered until it becomes very soft, so we can only prepare 2 kilograms every day.

オムライスの歴史 Omurice history

『オムライス』は、日本生まれの洋食です。

僕は7歳くらいの頃に新小岩にあった洋食屋さんで家族と食べた『オムライス』が大好きで、料理人になろうと思いました。

いつしかその洋食屋さんは閉店。

この頃から僕の夢
『新小岩にオムライス屋さんを出そう!』と決めてがむしゃらに修行して2002年、新小岩のオムライス屋さんバンズキッチンをオープンさせました。

《オムライスの歴史》

オムライスの歴史は、1895年(明治28年)創業の東京・銀座の『煉瓦亭』が発祥の店とされています。1900年(明治33年)、オムライスは『煉瓦亭』で“まかない料理”として誕生しました。

また、大阪心斎橋の「北極星」もしくは東京銀座の「煉瓦亭」が有名です。北極星のオムライスは、ケチャップライスを薄焼き卵で包んだ、現在一般的となっているスタイルのものです。

 When I was about 7 years old, I ate omelet rice with my family at a western restaurant in Shinkoiwa, and I decided to become a chef.


 At some point, the Western restaurant closed.

 “Let’s open an omelet rice restaurant in Shinkoiwa!  I decided to do it, and in 2002, I opened Shinkoiwa's omelet rice restaurant, Buns Kitchen.


 《History of Omurice》


 The history of omelet rice is said to have originated from "Rengatei" in Ginza, Tokyo, which was founded in 1895 (Meiji 28).  In 1900 (Meiji 33), omelet rice was born as a "meal dish" at "Rengatei".


 In addition, “Hokkyokusei” in Shinsaibashi, Osaka and “Rengatei” in Ginza, Tokyo are famous.  Hokkokusei Omurice is a popular style of ketchup rice wrapped in a thin egg.
