その後、三条の親類の家を訪問
Afterwards, we visited our relatives in Sanjo.
そして長岡のお寺で法事
And a memorial service at a temple
in Nagaoka
それから三条で食事会 餞心亭おゝ乃にて
Then we had dinner at Oono in Sanjo.
刺身は美味かった
鰻まで付いてくるとは思わなかった
The sashimi was delicious. I didn't expect
it to come with eel.
その後、長岡グランドホテルへ
Afterwards, we went to
Nagaoka Grand Hotel.

普段、日本酒は飲まないけど、ここでは飲む
I don't usually drink sake, but I do here.
そして、翌朝の
And the next morning

のっぺい、小嶋屋の蕎麦、しょうゆおこわの3点セットが食べたくて宿泊したようなものなのです。
I stayed there because I wanted to try
the three-item set of Noppei,
Kojimaya soba, and soy sauce rice.
そして、食の旅？はまだまだ続きます
And the food journey continues.
