Takayuki Tazawa Solo One-Man "Zanshin" Live Support
Recently, it has been gradually getting cooler, hasn't it?
Can we start calling it "autumn" soon?
Autumn is my favorite season, but it always seems to slip away unnoticed.
This year, I want to savor it a bit longer.
I participated as a support guitarist in "Taka," also known as Takayuki Tazawa’s one-man live.
I used to play the guitar back when Taka was just starting his solo career, but this was my first time joining him in a while.
This time, I played alongside other support members (Bass/Takuma Makita, Drums/Hiroyuki Ishikawa, Keyboards/Tomohiro Sumikama) for the first time, and it was a different experience from the past.
It's as if our skills have been honed further. Everyone had a quick understanding of how to finish the songs, and their adaptability was impressive. Playing music together with them felt really satisfying.
For this occasion, I got custom-molded in-ear monitors to have a clearer monitor sound.
However, while playing the guitar, I couldn't help but be drawn into Taka's delicate singing.
I'm impressed by how he sings so meticulously down to the smallest details.
In response, I played my guitar attentively, sometimes with a rough edge.
You can feel the other instruments responding in the same way.
It all comes together to create a powerful groove in the songs.
This is the true pleasure of performing live together with everyone.
It stirs up something deep inside.
The Takayuki Tazawa Solo Live titled "Zanshin" still lingers in my body, and the resonance remains within me.
