シンガポールぶらり旅 Little India

今回はインド人がたくさんいるリトルインディアに行く事にしたそうです

(they decided to visit little india where a lot of indian people are.)

リトルインディアのセラングーンロードに来てるよ

(i'm at Serangoon road in little india.!)

飾りがかなりインドっぽい感じだね

(the embellishment looks indian!)

昨日のオフィス街とは全然違うなあ～

(it's so different to the business district where i was yesterday!)

そして、歩いていると立派なヒンズー教の寺院が登場！

(as they were walking down the road, suddenly a grand hindu temple appeared!)

おおおおお！！これはスリヴィラマカリアマン寺院だね！

上のはヒンズー教の神様とか神聖な動物、戦士の彫刻だって

(wow!!! this is the Sri Veeramakaliamman temple!)

(the carvings are hindu gods, holy animals and warriors.)

そして、リトルインディアを散策した後、ローチョーカナルロードを通ってウォータールーストリートに行ったそうです

(after they enjoyed little india, they walked down Rochor Canal street, and went to waterloo street.)

さっきまでインド人ばっかだったのに５分もすれば次は中国人ばっかだなあ

(there were indians everywere just 5 minutes ago, and now, all i see is chinese!!)

後ろに見えてるのが観音堂だよ

(the temple behind me is kwan yin tang.)

すごい人でにぎわってるなあ

(there are so many people around here!!!)

そして、なんとその隣にはヒンズー教の寺院があったそうです！

(and surprisingly, there was a hindu temple, next to it!)

これはスリ・クリシュナン寺院だって

(this temple is the Sri Krishnan Temple.)

中国寺院とヒンズー寺院が隣り合わせなんてまさにシンガポールならではだなあ

(it is a Singaporian thing that the chinese temple and the hindu temple stand closely together!)

多民族国家のシンガポールを肌で感じたブンセンでした

(bunsen experienced the multiethnical part of Singapore.)
