●「今日の学習」Hoy aprendemos

今日は天候を詳しく表現する方法を見ていきましょう。
★「激しい」
「激しい風」fuerte viento（strong wind）（vento forte）
「激しい雨」fuerte lluvia（heavy rain）（pioggia intensa）
「豪雨」lluvia torrencial（torrential rain）（pioggia torrenziale）
torrencial「激流のような」（形容詞）
torrente「川の激流」（名詞）
Ayer llovió torrencialmente en mi pueblo natal.
（Yesterday it rained torrentially in my hometown.）
（Ieri ha piovuto torrenzialmente nella mia città.）
私のふるさとは昨日豪雨に見舞われた。
・「激しい雨」の「激しい」に使えるそのほかの形容詞
intensa：強い abundante：大量の
形容詞は基本的には名詞の後ろに使うが、前に置くことで意味を強めることができる。
Las fuertes lluvias durante agosto inundaron muchos huertos.
（The heavy rains during August flooded many orchards.）
（Le forti piogge di agosto hanno allagato molti frutteti.）
8月を通じての豪雨が多くの畑を水浸しにした。

Lidia:
Antes yo creía que los tifones solo eran un viento muy fuerte.
（I used to believe that typhoons were just a very strong wind.）
（Pensavo che i tifoni fossero solo un vento molto forte.）
以前、台風のことを単なるとても強い風だと思っていました。
Nobu:
No, no exactamente. También llevan lluvias torrenciales.
（No, not exactly. They also bring torrential rains.）
（No, non esattamente. Portano anche piogge torrenziali.）
正確には違いますね。豪雨も伴います。
●寒暑を詳しく表現する形容詞
★厳しい暑さ un calor intenso, un calor fuerte
Es imposible estudiar cuando hace un calor intenso.
（It is impossible to study when it is intensely hot.）
（È impossibile studiare quando fa molto caldo.）
厳しい暑さの時に勉強することは不可能です。
★蒸し暑い
un calor sofocante（息苦しい暑さ）
un calor agobiante（息が詰まる暑さ）
un calor húmedo（湿気のある暑さ）
bochorno（蒸し暑さ）
★カラッとした暑さ
un calor seco（乾燥した暑さ）
un calor abrasador（乾燥して焼けつくような暑さ）
★厳しい寒さ
un frío intenso
un frío extremo
El infierno en la alta montaña se caracteriza por su frío extremo.
（Winter in the high mountains is characterized by extreme cold.）
（L'inverno in alta montagna è caratterizzato dal freddo estremo.）
高い山での冬は、その厳しい寒さに特徴づけられる。
凍てつく寒さ
un frío penetrante
penetrante：入り込むような、突き刺すような
「ひどい寒さ」を表現するのに、「恐ろしい」を意味する
terrible, espantoso, horrorosoといった形容詞が使われる。
ラテンアメリカでgarúaは降りしきる細かい雨のこと。

¿Lidia, cuál es tu consejo de hoy?
（Lidia, what is your advice today?）
リディア先生：
Los sustantivos prefieren algunos adjetivos por encima de otros. Aunque su significado sea muy parecido, el diccionario te dará opciones y las primeras pistas para poder elegir el mejor.
（Nouns prefer some adjectives over others. Even if their meaning is very similar, the dictionary will give you options and the first clues to choose the best one.）
塚原先生：
似た意味の形容詞がいくつかある中で、この名詞をよく使うという組み合わせ、つまりコロケーションはだいたい決まっています。まず辞書でそのコロケーション情報を探してみましょう。
A final para confirmar tu elección, usa el buscador introduciendo sustantivo y adjetivo entre comillas.
（Finally, to confirm your choice, use the search engine by entering noun and adjective in quotation marks.）

次にその名詞と形容詞の組み合わせを引用符で囲んでインターネットで検索してみましょう。ヒット数、つまり使われている頻度が確認できますよとのこと。
