クリスが逝ってしまった日から

私の心にいまず。
いつも
なにかにつけて
クリスのことを
思い出させることがあります。
それが
クリスの好きだった
食べものだったり
クリスが好きだった
ビデオゲームだったり
または
クリスと一緒に行ったところであったり.......
そして
いつも
私のフェイスブックに
クリスのむかしの写真や
クリスのビデオが
フェイスブックのメモリーとして
でてきます。
それは
いつも
私に
笑顔と笑いもくれます😆
あるいは
ときどき
私に
涙をくれます😢
私が
生徒さんたちを教え
そして
笑う時
私はいつも
私の笑いと声をとおして
クリスの笑いと
クリスの声を聞きます。🥰
クリスは
生徒さんたちをからかうのが
とても好きでした。

アイスダンスというスポーツを祝うために
こうして
たくさんの方々が集まるのを見て
これが
クリスの思い出と
クリスのレガシーを
これからも生き続けるための
最高の方法だと感じました。

むかし
全ての規定ダンスを滑っていたころを
思い出し
クリスと一緒に滑った

思い出していました。
皆さんが
楽しんで滑っている
アイスダンスを見て
クリスと一緒の素晴らしい時を
一緒に滑っていた素晴らしい時間を
思い出していました。

Chris Reed Trophy was such a special day❤️
I am so grateful to all the people involved for such a wonderful event.
Every day since Chris’ passing, he is always on my mind.
There is always something that reminds me of him, whether it was a food he liked or a game he liked, or a place we went to together.
There is always an old picture or video of him that pops up on my Facebook memory or when I turn my iPad on. It always makes me smile and laugh😆 It sometimes makes me cry😢
Every time I teach my students and laugh, I hear Chris’ laugh and hear his voice through mine. He loved teasing his students and I love to do the same😝
No matter what, everyday I think about him.
But Chris Reed Trophy was a day where not only I thought about him, everyone thought about him.
Everyone shared one of their favorite memories of him, or told me their favorite program of his, or just simple said, I was such a big fan of Chris.
Seeing everyone come together to celebrate Chris and the wonderful sport of ice dancing which he loved with all his heart, is seriously the best way to keep Chris’ memory and legacy alive.
I watched the whole event, I watched everyone’s wonderful performances.
Hearing all the compulsory musics played, reminded me of the time I skated each and every one of those compulsory dances with Chris.
Seeing everyone have fun ice dancing together, reminded me of all the great times Chris and I enjoyed ice dancing together.
Chris Reed Trophy was truly such a special day❤️
