交通違反切符について持論がある。 ささいなスピード違反や駐車違反に対して違反切符を切られた経験のない運転者はほとんどいないであろう。 違反金額は普通の労働者の日当に相当するほどの高額である。 ほんのちょっとアクセルを吹かしただけで5キロオーバー、罰金10,000円取られるような事態に警察に対して不満をもたないドライバーいないはずだ。 加えて、警察のネズミ捕りは姑息で卑怯である。 ネズミ捕りの網はドライバーが加速をしがちな極めて見通しの良いところに張っている。警察は本来、市民の味方であるべき組織である。 交通取り締まりに携わる警官は法に従う義務があるので、現行の法規ではドライバーの恨みを買う悲しい仕事をせざるを得ない。誠に気の毒な職務である。さて、ドライバーと警官の不幸な関係を一気に解決する方法がある。 交通法規の改正である。 あの激しい競技、サッカーをスムーズに進行させるイエローカードの導入である。 軽微な交通違反に対しては、イエローカードを切れば、執行猶予となりドライバーと警官の間にコミュニケーションが生まれる。イエローカードの知恵を拝借しない手はない。交通事故の少ない穏やかな社会が生まれるであろう！
I have a cherished opinion about speeding/parking tickets. Numberless drivers have received a ticket for a minor speeding or parking violation. The amount of the ticket is as high as the average worker's daily wage. No driver would complain to the police about being fined 10,000 yen for driving five kilometers over the speed limit just by stepping on the gas. They cannot help but surrender to the power of the police. In addition, the speed traps are cunningly set up in high visibility roads/streets where drivers are unconsciously liable to step on the gas. The police are by nature an organization that should be on the side of the citizens. However, traffic enforcement officers are required to follow the law and then the regulations force them to do a sad job that creates resentment among drivers. It is truly a regrettable duty. Here is a simple way to solve the unfortunate relationship between drivers and police officers. It is the introduction of the yellow card that makes that intense competition, soccer, run smoothly. For minor traffic violations, a yellow card will result in a suspended sentence and create communication between the driver and the officer. There is no way to avoid using the wisdom of the yellow card. It will create a more peaceful society with fewer traffic accidents!
