昨日は、E-メールの実践例を紹介した。 今日も、引き続き直近のメールを紹介しょう：
Japan has been hit by the eighth wave of coronas. In addition to that, influenza is also spreading. Even more troubling, avian influenza is hitting the poultry farms in the archipelago with a furious intensity. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, the number of birds to be destroyed by avian influenza this season has exceeded 10 million throughout Japan. In fact, this morning, only six eggs were delivered to our home. We had ordered 20 eggs. And the price has skyrocketed by 130%. Sayonara for now, hoping everything with you two is fine as usual,
Hidemi 日本はコロナの第8波に見舞われている。それに加えて、インフルエンザも蔓延している。 さらに厄介なのは、鳥インフルエンザが列島の養鶏場を猛烈な勢いで襲っていることだ。農水省によると、今シーズン、鳥インフルエンザで処分される鳥の数は、日本全国で1000万羽を超えたという。 実は今朝、我が家に届けられた卵はわずか6個だった。20個の卵を注文していたのに。しかも、値段は130%高騰している。お二人がいつも通り元気であることを祈りつつ、じゃまた、サヨナラ。
Dear Hidemi,
Japan joins other countries with new waves of diseases. China, the USA, and others are reporting new deaths at an alarming rate. The chicken farmers will be hard hit financially. So sad! We continue to be very careful. Do take care and stay well.
