The Tempest 43 ステファーノ、キャリバンに酒を飲まそうとする 2017 09 27 (Wed) 訳 松岡和子 ちくま文庫
酔っぱらいのステファーノもキャリバンを見て、ミラノに連れて行って、高く売りつけようという。
そこで、キャリバンに気つけ薬（酒）を飲まそうとする。キャリバンは、これまた、別の妖精が自分をいじめに来たとおもう。
やがて、道化師トリンキュローもステファーノの声に気づく。酔っぱらいとキャリバン、道化師の珍問答。

ague = おこり、マラリヤ熱。悪寒。
ストーリには大きな影響はないが、深刻な陰謀のあいまに、とぼけた会話は笑いをさそう。神は細部に宿る。
シェークスピアは楽しみながら、このあたりを書いている。
