大阪の天王寺区にある
坐禅の寺
天正寺です。
早朝坐禅会に外国人の方達が
来られました。
畳に座る習慣のない
外国人の方ですが
結構ちゃんと座られていました。
ちょっとドキドキしながら
good morningの挨拶
この日は通訳さんが
付き添われていました。
外国人の方々が、朝の禅寺の
雰囲気を味わいたいという事でした。
時々、外国人の方が坐禅をしたいと
訪ねて来られる事があります。
その時は住職が個別に
英語で坐禅会を行っております。
御朱印は前もって言って頂いたら
用意します。

Tenshoji is a Zen temple in the Tennoji district of Osaka.
Foreigners came to an early morning Zen meditation session.
They are not used to sitting on tatami mats, but they sat quite properly.
An interpreter was accompanying them that day.
The foreigners wanted to experience the atmosphere of a Zen temple in the morning.
Sometimes foreigners come to visit wanting to do Zen meditation.
At that time, the head priest conducts a Zen meditation session in English individually.
Goshuin stamps can be prepared if you ask in advance.
