中東でやったらおもしろいこと：死海に行ったら、からだじゅうに泥を塗って楽しんでいるような振りをしろ。
エルサレムの嘆きの壁にいくなら、Bad ReligionのTシャツを着ていけ。無礼な感じの見かけになるけど、キリストの墓にそれを着ていくよりはましだ。ラッキーなことにちょっとしか歩かなくていいから。
Hifaでライブをする時は、ベースをものすごい勢いで左に振り回してみろ。ギターのメンバーがこっちをちゃんと見てないときに。タイミングがあえば、ベースのネックが真っ二つに折れるだろう。と同時にEric Melvinが軽い脳震盪になる。（注：これは、ベースプレイヤーにとってもっとおもしろいことだ。）
イスタンブールでは、ベースを売ってるような小高いところにある短い通りをさがせ。Hamid's Guitarsって店があるから。Fenderに高い値段をつけすぎだよ、でも中古のRocksonはたくさん手に入るよ。Hamidに聞いてみろ。Fat Mikeに言われて来た。って。

Other fun things to do when in the Middle East: When at the Dead Sea, spread mud all over yourself and pretend like you're having a good time
. When at the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, wear a Bad Religion shirt. You get some pretty dirty looks, but not as bad as the looks you get when you wear the same shirt to Christ's tomb, which is conveniently only a short walk away. When playing a show in Haifa, try swinging your bass guitar really hard to the left when your guitar player isn't paying attention. If you time it just right, you just might break the neck of your bass in two, and simultaneously give Eric Melvin a mild concussion (Note: this is more fun for the bass player). When in Istanbul, look for the short hilly street that sells bass guitars. There's a store called Hamid's Guitars. Fenders might be overpriced, but you can get a great deal on a used Rockson. Ask for Hamid. Tell him Fat Mike sent you.
