This church has three chapels and one kindergarten in Sapporo city.

The Lutheran Church in Hokkaido was started in 1916 by a Finnish missionary and a young Japanese pastor.In 1934, a church was built at the current location, Minami 12-jo Nishi 12-chome, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, and in 1937, Mebae Kindergarten was built adjacent to the church.It is a Protestant church.

The Hokkaido Centenary Memorial Tower is a monumental structure located within Nopporo Forest Park in Atsubetsu Ward, Sapporo City, Hokkaido.
Construction began in November 1968 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Hokkaido's development, was completed in July 1970, and opened to the public the following year in April 1971. It is adjacent to the Hokkaido Museum and Hokkaido Development Village in Nopporo. However, due to its age, demolition work began on January 23, 2023.
(北海道百年記念塔は、北海道札幌市厚別区の野幌森林公園内にある記念碑的建造物です。
北海道開拓100周年を記念して1968年11月に着工、1970年7月に完成、
翌年の1971年4月に一般公開されました。野幌の北海道博物館や北海道開拓村に
隣接しています。しかし、老朽化のため、2023年1月23日より解体工事が始まりました。)
