It is a holiday season in Japan and we have 6 bank holidays from 18th to 23th September. 
My darling and I went to Murakami in Niigata Prefecture. It is an old castle town, so the castle is the main sightseeing spot. However, there is no building, only ruins exist there.
The Murakami Castle used to be on the top of a hill, so we went hiking to see the ruins. This photo was taken on the foot of the hill.

The hight is almost 130 meters. If you walk slowly, it took aproximately 20 to 30 miniutes to get the top. You can see stone walls around the top of the hill.
