Approximately 10 years ago, I learned English from a French woman. She was an artist, and had a 10 years old daughter. She loved Japan. She said it was a dream for her to live in Japan.
After the big earthquake which occurred in March 11th, 2011, she seemed to be scared of life in Japan. Finally, she decided to leave Japan after worrying.
At the last lesson with her, I chose and bought one of her paintings.
I am looking at it from time to time, dreaming of being able to go to France someday after the end of the Corona era.
